Great news folks; T'Pau are back with a brand new 'stunning' single!!!
Their last offering was the upbeat 'Be Wonderful' which was released during the first lockdown, which, along with its positive vibes, was able to take us to our very own 'happy place.'
It reached the top-ten in the Amazon 'Hot-New-Releases' Chart and reached the top-spot in the prestigious 'Heritage Chart.'
Their brand-new offering is called 'Guess Who's Sorry Now.'
It is an extremely striking rock tune, something T'Pau have always been able to produce so effortlessly and to full effect.
Carol's 'story-telling,' something she has always been so good at, is second to none, giving it such emotion at the same time.
A song about love lost, is one of the catchiest songs I have heard in a long time!!
The song has the traditional T'Pau sounds, including Carol's 'oh-so' distinctive vocals and the the typical guitar sounds, but the modern production gives us a fresh sounding T'pau, taking none of their familiar identity away.
The distinctive and addictive keyboards throughout the song, as well as the vocals, gives the song such legs, it will be running to the finish line as soon as it's released, especially with the 'explosive' crescendo the song has!!
'Guess Who's Sorry Now' has such a powerful vibe to it, I can imagine the likes of Chrissie Hynde & Debbie Harry singing it, two other vocal greats, which is huge kudos to Carol & Ronnie!!
The keyboards and other instruments throughout the song does remind me of A-ha & the late and great Robert Miles, which only adds to the positives of the song!
This song should provide a plethora of likes, and not just from T'Pau fans, but also other music lovers of the same age and a younger audience too, due to the modern feel of the song.
T'Pau delivered us 'Be Wonderful' at the beginning of the lockdown, which was just what we needed at the time.
Now they're giving us a brand-new upbeat, catchy and such powerful tune as we edge nearer to the end of lockdown, and we thank them for that!!
This track deserves so much to do well; it's T'Pau back at their finest and Ms Decker's vocals are second to none!!
